Pradeep Chandrasiri aspired to be an artist from his teenage years. He holds a a BFA in Painting and Sculpture from the Institute of Aesthetic Studies, University of Kelaniya. Pradeep has held exhibitions of his work in Sri Lanka, Australia, the Maldives, India, Pakistan, Sweden, Japan and the UK. In 2000, he founded Theertha to engage art through discussions, thoughts, agreements and disagreements. In his view, art is a struggle, engaging and confronting society.
