The project for the newspaper is a certain extension of my film "Kaimietis" (countryman). The main character finds himself in another medium and starts out with an autonomous life, as a separate object. The kaimietis' leap from the film into the newspaper is a very popular case, when film characters move to newspaper pages or vice-versa, characters of newspaper storylines become TV of films characters. People from entire professional groups constantly "reside" in channels of different media, living a life of media. Due to a variety of reasons stories of very different people could become a focus of media and they could be medialized. These stories become subjects of autonomous information field, interactively impacting biographies of narrative existence. The drawn portraits of my film's main character is a form of how a real character appears in cinematography, the condition that I imposed on him, separating his everyday life from a cinematographic existence. The character, created for the film, recreates an animated film episode within newspaper pages, which becomes a commentary for printed media context. This is the third form of character transformation, keeping up a discrete distance from two other forms: the real individual and the film's plot.
