During the 100th anniversary year of the Vienna Secession in 1997/1998, co-operation was begun between the Vienna art institution with a rich tradition and museum in progress. Under the motto of the Secessionists, "Art for the times, and freedom for art", this co-operation was intended to enable the "White Cube" to be extended into media space.
museum in progress has presented the works of artists who have had individual exhibitions at the Secession in the daily newspaper DER STANDARD at irregular intervals.
