On the occasion of the opening of the Wein & Co shop and bar, museum in progress presented the first contribution to a series of art works as part of the "Vienna Stripe" project. Over a period of six months, the work "PHILOSOPHIE/GEOGRAFIE" by Heimo Zobernig was shown in the form of two large format pictures.
On two long sections of the façade the words "PHILOSOPHIE" (Getreidemarkt: approx. 1.5m x 15m) und "GEOGRAFIE" (Linke Wienzeile: approx. 1.5m x 14m) could be seen in grey letters on a white background. Zobernig's statement is a reference to the product which is consumed and sold on the premises. Whereas geography is a decisive factor in determining the character of a wine, it is not unknown for great philosophical to have come about thanks to its consumption.
