In her artistic practice, Maureen Kägi explores line, surface and space and deals with the limits of visual perception. The many red, green and blue felt-tip pen lines create a flicker when viewed. The eye is in an interplay between trying to "focus", identifying the individual line, focusing on it and in turn seeing it in relation to the work as a whole. When viewed with 3D glasses, three-dimensional spaces open up in the picture.
