On the 4th of May 2000 TransAct statements by Alexander Kluge, author and film maker, and Slavoj Žižek, Philosopher und Psychoanalyst (University of Ljubljana, Kulturwissenschaftliches Institut Essen) were published in the daily newspaper DER STANDARD. Alexander Kluge answered the call of TransAct on 23 February 2000 and suggested we publish a text of our choice by him.
