Symposion 08

In Symposion 08 on 28 July 1995, in his first published original writings since 1993, the French philosopher Gilles Deleuze describes his meeting with the psychoanalyst Félix Guattari who died in 1992 which has gone down in the history of philosophy, the creation of the cult books "Anti-Oedipus" (1972) and "Thousand Plateaus" (1980) and his definition of philosophy today.

The German artist Carsten Höller, whose work moves around a similar borderline of art, philosophy and advanced science to the philosopher duo Deleuze-Guattari, confronts Deleuze's statement with a manifesto of current ecological thought in art.
