I try to let the picture develop by itself, not to aim at a direct goal, but to work constantly in detachment of gravity. It is not a matter of walking a path to the goal, but of constantly hovering – hovering until something is there. And then at some point you decide: now you go down to the ground and leave the picture. (Hubert Schmalix)
