As main sponsor of the "Safety Curtain" at the Vienna State Opera, the Austrian daily newspaper Die Presse made possible an ambitious contemporary art project at the prestigious Haus am Ring from 2008 to 2013. With this commitment, Die Presse combined tradition and innovation, thereby underlining its claim to be a leading cultural quality medium in Austria.
Since 2021, the Presse has provided media space for artistic interventions by museum in progress on a project-related basis.
