TransAct statement

As a Foundation for the international exchange of exhibitions of contemporary art, we are deeply concerned about the recent political developments in Austria.

We participate in your resistance by debating the freedom for the arts in the widest sense within our country and abroad. We wish to express our solidarity with the protests you are organising.

Art can only develop in full freedom and artists should be respected as the sensors of our society.
