On the occasion of Pierre Alechinsky’s 2018/2019 "Safety Curtain", museum in progress presented seven lithographs from various work periods of the artist in exhibitions at the Vienna State Opera and in the display windows of PRIVAT BANK of the Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich in Vienna in Operngasse 2. These supplementary works, which feature many-layered references to the “Safety Curtain”, can also be purchased at museum in progress, see: www.mip.at/shop/pierre-alechinsky-lithographien.
By purchasing them, art and opera enthusiasts will be making an important contribution to the continuation of this exhibition series. These works, which feature many-layered references to the "Safety Curtain", are also shown in an exhibition at the opera house. Additionally these lithographs will be presented in the display windows of PRIVAT BANK of the Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich in Vienna in Operngasse 2.
The exhibition series "Safety Curtain" is a project of museum in progress in cooperation with the Vienna State Opera and the Bundestheater-Holding, kindly supported in 2018 by the Kingdom of Belgium, the Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI) and Belcolade (Puratos Austria GmbH).
