"dezentrale medien" presents "A video archive on the situation of young people"
The group "dezentrale medien" (Eva Dertschei, Petja Dimitrova, Borjana Ventzislavova, Carlos Toledo) has been working on participatory projects with young people in Vienna since 2000. Through the use of video and internet media, they aim to make diverse life concepts and perspectives visible. For this exhibition, dezentrale medien has created an archive of video works, which will be added to the library's collection. Some of the contributions were independently developed and realised by young people, while others were the result of collaborations with artists or institutions involved in youth work.
